- Description
- Tall back with turned posts, fluted and reeded on front surface, which rise to turned finials. Caned central panel framed by a system of pierced scrolls and foliations. Elaborate shell and scroll-carved pierced cresting and front stretcher which lies behind turned, gadroon-capped front legs. Turned side and rear stretchers and rear legs. Upholstered in red silk velvet with red silk fringe.
