Description: A black-and-white digital image of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Reverend Ralph Abernathy in discussion with a Birmingham police officer. King sits in an armchair, against a cement-brick wall, wearing a dark suit and tie. His hands are clasped in his lap and he is looking directly at the police officer. Abernathy sits on the arm of King's chair, wearing a dark suit and tie, also facing the officer. Both Abernathy and King have white badges on their jackets. The police officer, in uniform and cap, has his back to the viewer lifting his left arm. There is an additional man on the left of the image in a dark overcoat and hat.
