- This black and white photograph shows Coretta Scott King leaving the birthday service for Martin Luther King Jr. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in 1969. King is centered in the photograph and looking off-camera. King is standing between an open car door and the interior but she is turned away from the vehicle.There is an unidentified man and woman behind King. A larger crowd and the press are on the other side of the car. The back of the photograph has a manufacturer's mark, photographer's stamp and a handwritten inscription.
