- Physical Description
- Molded plaster sphere with protruding seams from 3-part mold. Used in simulated bombing competition event called "Battleship" at the Boston Harvard Air Meet, September 3-13, 1910. Ball was originally white, but is now largely gray from dirt and age. Has several autographs on it (see "marks" below). 10.75" circumference, different l/w/h dimensions result from including seams.
