- Description
- A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of Brunswick River in Leland, South Carolina. The river can be seen in the image’s foreground, flowing south from the left edge to the right. In the right, vehicular traffic along Ocean Parkway pass over Brunswick River and through the remnant fields of Eagles Island (also known as Eagle Island) before disappearing behind trees on the island. Out in the distance, two other bridges can be seen on Eagles Island, rising above Cape Fear River. The Battleship North Carolina is also visible on Cape Fear River, across the water from Wilmington’s Historic District.
