- Description
- The 20-cent Alaska Statehood commemorative stamp in pane of fifty was issued January 3, 1984, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Designed by Bill Bond, the stamp features Caribou and the Alaska pipeline. The issuance of the stamp marked 25th anniversary of the Alaska statehood.
- This was the first stamp printed by a private firm under the terms of a contract awarded by the Postal Service on September 8, 1983.
